From 10-14 July 2016, PureSys exhibited at the acclaimed Singapore International Water Week (SIWW). This year, the biennial exhibition was held alongside both World Cities Summit (WCS) and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESS). The combined event formed the biggest integrated City Solutions platform of the year. The 7th edition of SIWW was held at Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, hosting a variety of reputable conventions and new water forums.

Renowned to be the largest global platform for stakeholders all over the world, SIWW aims to gather the top leaders in the industry to share and co-create innovative water solutions for the future. Dr Tony Tan Keng Yam, the President of Singapore, was there to grace the event at the opening ceremony and officially mark the start of the show.

‘It was amazing to meet some of the thought-leaders and listen to their futuristic views and aspirations. The exhibition was a great success and has opened up windows of opportunities for PureSys to further our cause in the water industry.’ – Christopher Png, Managing Director PureSys Singapore.

This is the second time PureSys has exhibited at this globally recognised event and we were glad to have had the opportunity to connect with many of our current and new potential business partners during the show.

At our exhibition booth, we featured an extensive range of ultra-pure fluid transfer components together with a mass of new and exciting products. The displayed products were well-received and very compatible with the new water-related technologies, products and solutions.

At the booth, we also showcased the Welco pump and extensive tubing system on the PureSys display board. The system garnered a lot of curiosity, and many intrigued visitors from various industries stopped by to take a look.

We were also graced by various industry leaders like Hyflux and Sembcorp, who had several interested parties eager to incorporate our range of ultra-pure fluid transfer products into their own systems. We are honoured by the visits and are extremely excited for the potential collaborations in the future.

This year, there was an increase in interest from attendees in the research and development sectors towards our tubing, filtration and fittings ranges. PureSys has been providing support to the research sector around the region ever since the company was founded. This collated mass of experience and knowledge throughout the past 4 years gave us a very strong point of reference for all the queries the researchers had to ask.

Additionally, we discovered new applications where PureSys could provide strong support to improve effectiveness and efficiency in filtration and wastewater processes. We are humbled by the companies that approached us and look forward to working together in this new industry.

Aside from the exhibition booths, The City Solutions exhibition also featured some of the most interesting and thought provoking conference sessions throughout the whole show, such as the Water Leader’s Summit and the Industrial Water Solutions Forum. PureSys’ members attended a few of these talks by respected leaders in the industry and were humbled with the new insights and interesting developments. Looking forward, PureSys is confident of providing improved support and services to aid with advancements for the future of the water industry.
